The Swiss Society of Infectious Diseases (SSI) is dedicated to promoting excellence in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious diseases across Switzerland. Our mission is to advance clinical practice, research, and education in infectiology and to strengthen collaboration among healthcare professionals working in this vital field.

Infectious diseases continue to pose significant challenges worldwide and in Switzerland. Addressing them requires scientific expertise, interdisciplinary cooperation, and continuous knowledge exchange. The SSI provides a central platform that connects clinicians, researchers, laboratories, and public health professionals, fostering collaboration and supporting professional development at all stages of a medical career.
